FlexPak-G2
The FlexPak-G2 is the second generation of our popular FlexPak™ enclosure, providing expanded connectivity options to better meet the unique functionality requirements of our customers. With the same robust, small form factor as our original FlexPak, the FlexPak-G2 houses NovAtel's industry-leading OEMV® line of receivers, including the dual-frequency OEMV-2 receiver, the single frequency OEMV-1 receiver, the single-frequency GLONASS capable OEMV-1G receiver. All three hardware variants are software upgradable in the field to provide the custom performance your application requires1. Metre to centimetre-level accuracyThe FlexPak-G2 provides a range of accuracies, depending on the receiver and firmware options you choose; from centimetre-level accuracy with NovAtel's AdVance™ RTK positioning technology on our V-2 model, to sub-metre accuracy with OmniSTAR, CDGPS and SBAS corrections on the FlexPak-G2-V1 model. Compact and ruggedAt only 147 x 108 x 45 millimetres in size, and weighing just 364 grams, the FlexPak-G2 is ideal for applications that face space and weight restraints. Furthermore, it is shock and dust resistant, waterproof to IPX7, and comes with locking connectors and mounting system to ensure secure installation. Base Station or RoverAll FlexPak-G2 models are capable of base station or rover operation. Using standardized RTCM2.3, RTCMV3 and CMR+ message types, the FlexPak-G2 is compatible with all NovAtel and third party GNSS receivers. Enhanced connectivityTwo standard DB-9 communication ports support power in and out; one port may be dedicated to powering and communicating with a radio, while the other may be dedicated to your host application. Independent input/output and USB port may be used simultaneously for time synchronization and direct connection to your laptop for field operation. 1. Receiver hardware is not field upgradeable |
